Vanden Heuval Drives AMSOIL Truck To Podium
Crandon, WI (August 31) - The 2002
Borg-Warner Championship race pits the elite against the elite
in off-road racing. Team AMSOIL with the "Flying Dutchman" Dan
Vanden Heuval was on the front row for the August 31 event
having been the third fastest qualifier for 2-wheel drive
trucks. Out of the gate he was third. He hung on for awhile, but
the 4-wheel drive trucks continued to gain ground until Vanden
Heuval had dropped into fifth position. He dug deep and found
another gear to get the truck back up into third place. With no
concern about the engine Vanden Heuval says he "stayed on the
gas hard" for third place. It was his best finish yet in the
Borg-Warner race.
AMSOIL is a proud sponsor of the Borg-Warner
Championship, the Sportsman 2 Championship, Oberg Motorsports,
Dan Wandahsega Racing and Vanden Heuval.
